Where is the Xtremes Glisses Samoens store located?

Located near free parking and bus lines, access is very simple and fast to our store!

Our mountain sports rental shop is located opposite the campsite, 100 meters from the gondola of the Grand Massif Express de Samoëns village.

Once equipped, when you leave Xtremes Glisses you are 2 steps from the ski lifts of the ski resort of Samoëns 1600.

No need to walk for miles with your equipment, you will be at the top of the station in just a few minutes!

If necessary, our excellent location allows you to quickly go to the store to make any changes on your ski rental equipment.

Coming to Samoëns

For a holiday in the mountains, the resort of Samoëns is a destination to be preferred!
The ski resort is served by Geneva International Airport, which is less than 1 hour away by car. Also note that the station is only about 1h30 from Lyon.
If you prefer to come by bus, it is quite possible.
You will find the tourist office website, information related to the different shuttles to come to Samoens.

In the heart of the Giffre valley, on the Grand Massif in Haute-Savoie (74), located in the northern Alps, Samoëns is indeed ideally located. Connected to the Grand Massif area and 4 other resorts (Les Carroz, Morillon, Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and Flaine), 265 kilometers of ski slopes are available for a sports holiday unforgettable.

When is the best time to pick up these items during school holidays

You have booked your equipment during the weekends of school periods. The store is open non-stop every day from 08:00 to 19:00. Here are the preferred times to avoid an hour of waiting during busy periods!

It is therefore advisable to come and pick up your equipment on Saturday between 08:00 and 14:00 and on Sunday between 08:00 and 09:30, or between 13:00 and 18:00.

The hours to avoid during the weekend are therefore on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The waiting time during these periods can reach up to 1h15.

You need a deposit for any ski equipment booking on the website

A deposit of 20% of the value of the order on the website will be requested at the time of booking. It also allows us to change the pack more easily, in case of error and without need for refund. However, the payment of your reservation will be requested at the time of the material. This saves us time when returning your material.

How to choose the height of your rental skis when booking online

When booking your ski rental equipment and boots, you have the choice to choose your size of ski but only for confirmed level, declined in pack "Prestige" in our online reservation site.

As for the other category of skier, pack "Debutant" or "Performance" we professional ski dus will be there for you advised best according to your requirements!

It will depend on your desire, your fitness, your goal and your level of skiing.

Why don’t you need to choose your ski shoe size when booking online

When booking your ski rental equipment and shoes, we do not ask you for your size!

The answer is very simple: it makes more sense to see this with our team of professionals, who will be there to advise you and provide you with the necessary help to find "shoes on your feet" in order to spend the most pleasant ski holiday possible.

It will all depend on your feeling, your level and especially the comfort of the ski boot.

How to choose your ski size for adults and children

Depending on your level of skiing, it is very quick to choose the size of your skis when booking or renting. This rule is the same for adults and children.

Beginner level: 20 cm below your waist
Intermediate level: 10 cm below your waist
Good to very good level confirmed: choose your size or 10 cm below for very good levels

How to choose the size of your bike/ MTB

We take care of everything. It is very simple for us, professionals, to direct you to the right size of bike/MTB for rental.

We will only need to know your height. Then, a size matching chart provided by the manufacturers will allow us to give you the right bike.

Then, a knowledgeable advice from our team will explain the different accessories of the bike for optimal use."

Can we take the ski lifts with the bike/ mountain bike

The development and use of cycling in mountain areas has become increasingly common, and this trend is developing in our valley as well as on the Grand Massif area, where you will find a wide range of trails for all levels and for the whole family. We have marked trails suitable for mountain biking, downhill bike, enduro and electric bike.

To help you, the ski lifts open and equip their facilities for cycling on the Grand Massif, allowing you to access your favorite slopes and peaks faster with your bike/ mountain bike.
